Make Your Own Metal Plant Tags

Sick of the plastic bits you get in your garden when those cheap tags deteriorate in our So Calif sunshine?
Wish wooden tags would last a little longer so that you really could know what variety was planted there?
Metal tags can be very expensive, but we have found instructions on how to MAKE YOUR OWN! And this coming weekend, we’re going to have fun trying it out!
Come meet fellow gardeners, have fun, and learn how to work a simple metalworking project. If you have heavy gloves, especially leather ones, please bring them. Tools will be provided (but if you happen to have “tin snips”, we’d be grateful of you mark them with your name, and bring them to share with others).
Also bring sun protection because we will be working outdoors.Landscape architect John Tikotsky will guide us.
