Marina Del Rey Gasoline Prices Rise For Seventh Straight Day; Where to Fill Up for Less

The increases follow a 42-day streak of decreases that dropped the average price to its lowest amount since March 10.

LOS ANGELES, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Tuesday for the seventh consecutive day, increasing eight-tenths of a cent to $2.696.

The average price has risen 6.2 cents over the past seven days, including a half-cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The increases follow a 42-day streak of decreases that dropped the average price to its lowest amount since March 10.

The average price is 16.1 cents less than one month ago and $1.01 lower than one year ago

The Orange County average price rose Tuesday for the eighth time in nine days, increasing a half-cent to $2.681. It has risen 8.1 cents over the past nine days, including a half-cent on Monday.

The Orange County average price is 7.7 cents higher than one week ago, but 15.7 cents less than one month ago and 96.9 cents lower than one year ago.

The increases in Orange County follow a 39-day streak of decreases that dropped the average price to its lowest amount since March 10.
