Marina del Rey Polar Plunge for Special Olympics
Take the Polar Plunge into the Wintery Waters of Marina del Rey's Mother's Beach to support Special Olympics Athletes

Hundreds of people will brave the chilly waters of Marina “Mother’s” Beach on Saturday, February 28, 2015 to take the Polar Plunge and raise funds for local Special Olympics athletic programs for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Companies, school groups, community groups, law enforcement, and supports of all kinds will walk, run, or “creatively enter” the cold waters to benefit Special Olympics Southern California Athletes. Even people “Too Chicken to Plunge” have the opportunity to participate in this exhilarating fundraiser and raise funds to stay OUT of the water. People are encouraged to sport their favorite costume whether the come alone or plunge with friends.
