MdR Community Food Truck Fiesta Wednesday, September 17
Short Avenue Elementary School is proud to host a monthly neighborhood food truck night the third Wednesday of every month from 5-8pm.
Join the Food Truck Fiesta celebration Wednesday evening, 9/17, where you’ll find amazing tacos, burritos, sandwiches, vegetarian options, ethnic food, ice and more. This month Short Avenue Elementary is proud to host: Say Fish Tacos, Reuben Truck and Fluff Ice.
Say Fish Tacos (latin american food, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, bowls---handmade tortillas, fish, shrimp, salmon, carnitas (can bring asada) and veggie options, agua frescas. A newer truck on the scene with a chef who spent over 14 years in Mexico perfecting the ultimate fish taco in restaurant kitchens. Getting great reviews, very tasty and fresh.
Reuben Truck offers the comforts of hot sandwiches (corned beef, reubens, pastrami) to melts (grilled cheese, tuna), wraps, including all beef hot dogs, latkes, fries, veggie options---pretty sure the kids will like this truck.

Fluff Ice----their take on traditional ice made refreshing, light and airy, fluffy like cotton candy with regular toppings from chocolate chips to cheese cake bites to more exotic toppings from lychee jelly to taro pudding.
Bring your merry selves and blankets and lawn chairs to dine al fresco with your friends and neighbors on the school front lawn. There will be entertaining back yard games for the kids and adventurous adults.
