One Arrested Following Minor Crash in Marina del Rey

At least one passenger ran from the vehicle following the crash, although the driver remained at the scene, authorities said.

MARINA DEL REY, CA - One person was arrested Sunday afternoon at the scene of a non-injury, single-vehicle crash in Marina del Rey, authorities said.

The crash was reported at about 4:30 p.m. on Via Marina near Old Harbor Lane, according to the California Highway Patrol, which investigated the crash.

At least one passenger ran from the vehicle, although the driver remained at the scene, CHP Officer Alex Rubio said.

County firefighters responded to the scene but did not take anyone to a hospital, and Rubio said no one was injured.

He did not know what the arrested person was suspected of doing or if it was the driver or passenger who was taken into custody.
