Passenger Bumped from Plane after Fight over Bag Bumping

A Delta flight headed from LAX to New Orleans had to return to the gate this morning when two women got into an argument after one jostled the other with her bag.

“At 9:20 a.m. we got a call from the captain about an unruly passenger,” said LAX Public Information Officer Rob Pedregon.

“One woman accidentally bumped the other with a bag, and she didn’t like it,” said Pedregon.

The aggrieved passenger threatened to hurt the accidental jostler, making her uncomfortable, he said. The woman who made the threat was escorted off the plane and rebooked on a later flight. No citations were issued, added Pedregon.
