
The worldwide observance of Passover is scheduled to begin on Friday, and if you are looking for a place to observe the holiday, there is still time to make reservations.
is accepting reservations for its Passover Seder which is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday. Passover marks the Jewish observance of the Exodus of the ancient Israelites from Egypt after the end of slavery. Rabbi Danny Yiftach said the annual celebration of Passover is never something that should be regarded as routine.
“Every Passover is unique because it’s not just a matter of living to celebrate past history,” he said. “We treat Passover as something that’s happening right now, so it’s a new level of freedom.”

Yiftach said for those who visit Chabad of Marina del Rey to observe the Passover this year, there will be a special focus on “resolving to break new barriers in all aspects of their lives."
That theme will be carried throughout all of the eight days of Passover as people reflect on "how are we going to implement that in our everyday life,” he said.

Friday’s Passover Seder at Chabad of Marina del Rey costs $54 per adult and $36 for children. To make reservations, visit Chabad of Marina del Rey online.
Marina Shul Jewish Community Center will also host a community Passover Seder at 7:30 p.m. Friday which Rabbi Yosi Natarstek said will be a special time for families to come together.
“Every year is different,” said Rabbi Yosi Natarstek. “We explain, teach and sing different songs. It’s a beautiful celebration together.”
The cost is $36 for adults and $20 for children under the age of 12, and making advance reservations online is also encouraged.
