Person Critically Injured in Rollover Crash in Marina Del Rey

A person suffered critical injuries while in a vehicle that overturned today in Marina Del Rey.

The crash at Admiralty and Palawan ways was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 6:46 a.m., said CHP Officer Peter Bishop.

Paramedics dispatched to the scene at 6:48 a.m. rushed one person to an area hospital with critical injuries, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.

A crew from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works was dispatched to the scene to remove a tree that had fallen onto the roadway, he said.

The CHP issued a SigAlert at 7:33 a.m. that closes Palawan Way at Admiralty Way for at least an hour, Bishop said.
