Armed Robbery Suspect Led Police On Chase In Marina Del Rey
The pursuit began when an air unit spotted the suspect's SUV.
MARINA DEL REY, CA –An armed robbery suspect led police on a chase in the Marina del Rey area Thursday before exiting his vehicle and running into an apartment building. The chase began about 1:25 p.m., when an air unit spotted the suspect's SUV in the area of Mindanao Way and Lincoln Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The suspect made his way onto the Marina 90 Freeway into the Culver City area before circling back to the marina and bailing out of the vehicle in the 13900 block of Panay Way and ran into an apartment complex.
Police established a perimeter as they searched for the suspect. No details about the crime that prompted the chase were immediately available.
