The 6' 3" sophomore guard/forward poured in a season-high 32 points and the Vikings needed every last one of them to pull out a 78-77 victory over Compton Dominguez in the MLK Showcase at Price High in Los Angeles.
Randolph shot 14 of 26 from the field and made four of his seven free throw attempts as St. Bernard started fast, struggled in the middle two quarters, then finished with a flourish--outscoring the Dons 23-16 in the final eight minutes.

St. Bernard trailed 61-55 entering the fourth quarter but took its first lead of the second half on a basket by Thurman Thomas and, after the teams traded baskets, the Vikings managed to hold the lead for the last 1:13.
Thomas scored 15 points and was six-for-six from the free throw line, junior forward Emani Grant had 11 points and guard Daniel Cordoba added 10 points and two assists for the Vikings (10-7), who resume Camino Real League play at home Wednesday against San Pedro Mary Star of the Sea.

Dominguez (9-10) opened the season losing five of its first six games but had strung together four consecutive victories before back-to-back losses by a total of four points to Gahr and St. Bernard. The Dons resume San Gabriel Valley League play Wednesday at Downey.
Coach Reggie Morris has already led the Vikings to six more wins than they had all of last season.
