St. Bernard Players Named All-CIF

Brandon Randolph and Lajahna Drummer are chosen to the Division V Southern Section basketball teams.

One day before the biggest game of their lives, St. Bernard High basketball players Brandon Randolph and Lajahna Drummer were recognized for their outstanding seasons.

Randolph and Drummer play for state championships in back-to-back games Friday afternoon but on Thursday they were named to the All-CIF team in their respective divisions. 

Randolph, a 6' 3" sophomore guard-forward, was the Vikings' lone representative on the boys' Division 5A team. He averages a team-best 18.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.1 steals.

Drummer, a 6' 2" freshman center, was the Vikings' only representative on the girls' Division 5AA squad. She averages 17.3 points, 11.9 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 3.3 blocks.

St. Bernard's boys squad plays Alameda St. Joseph Notre Dame for the state Division V title Friday at 1:30 p.m. and the Viking girls take on Los Altos Hills Pinewood for the state Division V title at 3:30 p.m., both games at Arco Arena in Sacramento.
