Suspicious Package Reported at LAX Administrative Building

Updated at 11 a.m.: Airport Police have cleared a suspicious package at the administration building of Los Angeles International Airport.

Closures in the area will likely be lifted shortly, but traffic will also likely remain jammed in the area until the scene is cleared.

Original story: The bomb squad is on scene after reports of a suspicious package in an administrative building of the Los Angeles International Airport, according to LAX police.

The building is being evacuated.

Police said no passengers or flights should be affected but there will be traffic delays in and around the airport.
