Tower 42 Aims to Please Palates in Playa del Rey
The restaurant offers an array of food and entertainment.
A new restaurant, Tower 42, is bringing unique California cuisine and live music to the beach.
The restaurant offers a large selection of food from salmon tartare to build your own burgers and free music most weekend nights, according to Tower 42's booker and publicist Michelle Barnes.
In addition to musical acts entertaining patrons in the bar and lounge area, there is a separate music room that can seat at least 50, Barnes said.

Tower 42 also began serving weekend brunch about a month ago which features brunch classics as well as bottomless mimosas, according to Barnes.
She said the restaurant definitely takes advantage of its surroundings.

"It really has embraced the view and the locale," Barnes said. "It's done a beautiful job of bringing the outside environment into the restaurant."
There is also a Happy Hour that features discounted specials from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays.
