Trailer Filled With Ammo Catches Fire In Marina Del Rey
The trailer was used as a mobile shooting range for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
MARINA DEL REY, CA – Authorities searched for clues Saturday into what caused a truck trailer carrying small caliber ammunition for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department to catch fire in Marina Del Rey.
Firefighters responded at 6 p.m. Friday to the 13900 block of Fiji Way and located the trailer on fire, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The lot where the trailer was parked is about two-tenths of a mile from the sheriff's Marina Del Rey station.

One deputy suffered smoke inhalation, the fire department said.
