USC Wins $30.9 Million Contract from Military

The work for this contract will be done in Marina Del Rey, Los Angeles and Arlington, Virginia through January 2022.

MARINA DEL REY, CA -- The University of Southern California's Information Sciences Institute was a $30.9 million contract from the US Air Force.

The institute will help the Air Force develop non-destructive 3D imaging technology for integrated circuits. The work will be done in Marina Del Rey, Los Angeles and Arlington, Virginia through January 2022.

USC will be supporting with Ptychography-based Rapid Imaging of Nano-Structures with Multi-layer Assemblies (PRISMA).

This award was the result of a competitive acquisition with 12 offers received, the Defense Department said.
