Anna Deavere Smith to Headline Annual DayBreak Event

Anna Deavere Smith will be featured at DayBreak Adult Care Centers’ annual fundraising event which is being held on Thursday, April 21st at the First Congregational Church of Berkeley from 6:30-9:30 pm.

Acclaimed actress, playwright, and professor, Anna Deavere Smith is best known for her leading roles in the West Wing and Nurse Jackie. She will explore aging, the vulnerability of the body, and the resilience of the human spirit as she performs excerpts from the acclaimed, powerful, one-woman show, Let Me Down Easy.

The event will be an evening of community and lively conversation, featuring fine local food, premiere wines and valuable raffle prizes. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.com.
