CA Lottery Ticket Worth $40K Sold In Contra Costa County

PITTSBURG, CA — Contra Costa County residents who purchased a SuperLotto Plus ticket for Wednesday night's drawing may want to check their tickets.

Although there was no mega winner for the $10 million July 27 jackpot draw, there were 114,155 winning tickets — including a ticket purchased in Pittsburg that matched five of five numbers and is worth $40,580.

The winning ticket bearing the numbers 2, 8, 11, 13 and 21 was sold at Baypoint Bevbox, 634 Port Chicago Highway, according to the California Lottery.

Because no tickets matching all five numbers plus the Mega number — 21 — were sold, the jackpot for Saturday's drawing grew to $11 million.
