Coat Drive Underway At Byron Park In Walnut Creek

Nobody should be left out in the cold! Donations go to Contra Costa County folks and kids in need.

Byron Park in Walnut Creek is accepting coats on behalf of One Warm Coat, a program that provides tools and resources to organize coat drives, and connects with local agencies to distribute donated coats.

Gifts will be accepted through Saturday, January 10th. Donors are encouraged to drop off gently used coats at the community in all sizes and for all ages, any time between 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. every day of the week.

The coats collected during the drive will be given to the Pittsburg Unified School District and for children in need.
