MARIN COUNTY, CA – San Rafael police arrested a Richmond man during a sting Thursday on suspicion of possessing property that was stolen from a paint store last week.

Jaime Luis Cisneros, 23, was in possession of a commercial grade paint sprayer valued at $7,000 that was taken during an overnight burglary at the Sherwin-Williams paint store at 444 DuBois St. in San Rafael on Saturday, police Lt. Raffaello Pata said.

A paint store employee saw a similar paint sprayer for sale online and notified police, who contacted the seller and negotiated a price for the item, Pata said.

Cisneros, his 5-year-old son and another man, Francisco Calixtro-Leon, 20, of Richmond, drove to the Park and Ride on Rowland Boulevard in Novato.

Detectives matched the serial number of the paint sprayer for sale with the serial number of the stolen paint sprayer and arrested Cisneros for possession of stolen property, Pata said.
