Blitzen’s Wonderland Mountain

Our giant snow hill brings a favorite winter delight to the park. Experience the thrill of sledding down our large dreamy snow slope. Grab your toboggan, hold on to your friends and family, and slip and slide your way through the white powdery snow.

E. Ben Geezer Puppet Show

Our insult puppet has a heart of gold, and a head of stone. He pops out through the windows of his two-story Victorian puppet house, wearing a nightshirt and night cap, to interact with the audience.

Candy Cane Lane

Take a relaxing stroll through this sweet canopy of larger-than-life candy canes, lollipops, and other sugary treats that pop up from the ground and line an enchanting pathway.

Christmas Tree Forest

Wander the beautiful lit path lined with trees and view dazzling Christmas trees. Festive elves have dressed up the holiday trees and covered them with glistening lights, bright garland strings, and other unique and creative elements that sparkle in the darkness.

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

At the Toy Box Stage. You won’t want to miss this unique tree-lighting extravaganza! Every night, our 65-foot Christmas tree comes to life as thousands of sparkling lights and magically illuminate the park, choreographed with music and precision.

Cookie Decorating

Guests with a sweet tooth will enjoy decorating their very own giant Christmas cookies. First, you’ll start with a fresh, delicious cookies. Then you can play with your food and add yummy accessories. Additional fee required.

Cool Yule

End your day at the park with the biggest holiday dance party in Northern California. Our cast of performers from all the holiday shows are ready to spread some joy and charm in their captivating performance.

Discovery Kingdom Carolers

Throughout the park, our trio of caroling performers, dressed in traditional Dickens-style holiday costumes, will provide festive entertainment at select times throughout the evening near the front gate.

Drench! Celebrates

Forget the reindeer; our talented dolphins are the animal stars of this holiday season. Merlin leads his fellow marine mammals through a rousing holiday show. The dolphins will shake their flippers, flap their tails, and bob their bottlenoses.

Happy Holidays

At the Toy Box Stage. Join our group of holiday dancers and singers as they put a twist on traditional Christmas carols. Your favorite seasonal tunes will be revised into pop versions to help spread the holiday energy and cheer.

Holiday Fire Pits

Cozy up and relax next to a warm holiday campfire before heading back out for more heart-pumping chills. Snuggle with your loved ones as the hot flames light up the night to toast your body and warm your heart.

Looney Tunes Christmas

Have you ever seen a rabbit dance? At this energetic dance party, your favorite Looney Tunescharacters, dressed in their holiday attire, light up the stage and entertain children with hilarious dance moves and fun holiday tunes.

Life Size Snow Globe

Everybody loves snow globes! Imagine one that is almost 15 feet high and can fit your whole family! Yes, that would be our gigantic, larger-than-life snow globe, located by our snow hill and Santa’s Workshop.

Main Street Festival of Lights

Towering 65 feet over the park, this large faux tree is the staple of your holiday dreamland. One of the largest Christmas trees around is adorned with thousands of sparkling lights and surrounded by larger-than-life presents.

New Year’s Eve

Ring in the New Year at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. On New Year’s Eve, the park will stay open until midnight so you can enjoy our rides and entertainment all the way to 2015.

Odin’s Temple of Tiger

While you’re enjoying all the holiday festivities, be sure to catch the Odin’s Temple of the Tiger show that will take place during the daylight hours. Our Bengal and Siberian tiger demonstration show offers a look at their strength, agility and prowess.

Reindeer Village

Stop by Reindeer Village to greet Dasher, take a photo with Dancer, give a hug to Prancer, share a kiss with Vixen, shake hands with Comet, smile with Cupid, tell a secret to Donner, and hang out with Blitzen.

Santa’s Workshop

Travel to the North Pole for a visit to Santa’s Workshop. Experience an unforgettable time as you spend some quality time with Jolly Old St. Nick and his friendly elves. Take a picture with Santa and let him know your most ardent wish for the holidays.

Toy Land

Stroll through this playful area to meet and greet life-size versions of your favorite childhood toys. An enormous Nutcracker soldier, an oversized teddy bear, a giant ballerina, a large rocking horse, massive blocks, a huge drummer boy, and a gigantic train.

Winter Wonderland

It’s a magical holiday experience in a wintry section of the park. Toasty fire pits glow bright and release a refreshing burst of warmth. On the center stage, you can catch E. Ben Geezer performing a charmingly festive puppet show.
