Does This Car Look Familiar? Martinez Police Investigating Home Break-Ins
Two burglaries, and one attempt, were logged today.

The Martinez Police Department is seeking information from the public on a vehicle (pictured) that was possibly used today in home break-ins in the area of Brookside and Duncan drives.
Police were called today at 5:14 p.m. for a possible residential burglary in-progress in the Likens Court area.
Arriving at the scene, officers saw the vehicle leaving the area occupied by a foursome who matched the juvenile suspects’ descriptions.

Police said they stopped on the car, and based on witness statements, positive identification of the juveniles and a check of the residence, officers arrested the four for suspicion of attempted burglary.
Martinez police also recorded today two separate residential burglaries. The department said that property stolen from those homes was located in the car with the juveniles.
Police are asking if anyone saw the car in the area of Brookside or Duncan today -- April 9 --to call the watch commander at (925)372-3436.
