UPDATE: Missing Elderly Woman With Dementia From Martinez Found
BREAKING: Mary Madrid of Vine Hill area was missing since Tuesday night.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA – UPDATE: WEDNESDAY, DEC, 7, 12 noon
An 81-year-old Martinez woman reported missing Tuesday night has been found, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office.
Mary Madrid, who suffers from dementia, was reported missing at about 10 p.m. from a home on Via De Flores in the unincorporated Vine Hill area.

At 9:47 a.m. today, the sheriff's office's reported on Twitter that Madrid was found.
She apparently walked away from the home at about 5:30 p.m. and her family initially believed she was at a friend's house.

An 81-year-old woman was reported missing near Martinez on Tuesday night, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office.
Mary Madrid, who suffers from dementia, was reported missing at about 10 p.m. from a home on Via De Flores in the unincorporated Vine Hill area.
Family members said Madrid walked away from the home around 5:30 p.m. and they initially believed she was at a friend's house, but later realized she was missing, sheriff's officials said.
Family members believe she may have walked off, became confused and could not find her way home. Deputies searched the neighborhood, including with a canine unit from Martinez police, but could not find her.
