For over 35 yrs. Derek Rolando has been performinng in the bay area as an outstanding Latin percussionist. His timbale,conga ,bongo playing are inovative and rooted in the Afrocuban tradition. He has performed with such greats as Pete Escovedo, Ray Obiedo,jazz violinist Regina Carter, Quicksilver, Lenny Williams, The Whispers, Shiela E. and members of Santana, Tower of Power, and Journey, just to name a few. His new band  is a blend of Latin jazz, East Bay funk, and Caribbean styles.

Ray Obiedo, a bay area legend, has toured and recorded with Herbie Hancock, George Duke, Pete Escovedo, just to name a few. He is a songwriter and producer as well.

Marc Van Wagenengen, has played with the Escovedo family , Steve Smith, Vital Information, John Santos, Tower of Power, and his own group the V.W. Brothers.
 
Phil Hawkins is currentley with the Pete Escovedo Orqestra, Ray Obiedo and Wayne Wallace.
He also teaches at Mission College and is both an educator and author.
 
Greg Rahn has played with  Chris Cain, Ronnie Montrose, Roger Glenn, Pete Escovedo, just to name a few. Over the last twenty years Greg has been a major force in the video sondtrack industry.

Alex Murzyn has performed and/or recorded with Dizzy Gillespie, Freddy Hubbard, Arturo Sandoval, Stanley Clarke, Huey Lewis, Bobby Hutcherson, Sammy Davis, Jr., Pete Escovedo, Ray Obiedo among others.
