Jazz in the Basement, a twice-monthly concert series, celebrates its one-year anniversary with a special concert by The Dynamic Miss Faye Carol Featuring the Joe Warner Trio. Faye Carol is one of the premiere vocalists of her time. Her unique style and gift of connecting with her audience is astonishing. A legend on the Bay Area scene, she has performed with artists such as Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye, Albert King, Charles Brown, Bobby Hutcherson, Eddie 'Cleanhead' Vinson, and Pharoah Sanders. She will be backed by Martinez native pianist Joe Warner and his trio.
