"Wherever There's a Fight" Woman's Suffrage in CA

Authors Elaine Elinson and Stan Yogi will talk about the history of the fight for Woman's Suffrage and Civil Liberties in California in the fifth and final lecture in a series sponsored by the Contra Costa and the Martinez historical societies. 

The pair, authors of "Wherever There's a Fight," will discuss and explore the history of the fight for civil liberties by racial, gender, immigrant and other groups in California. 

This is the final of five lectures celebrating the centennial of women winning the right to vote in California on Oct. 10, 1911.
