CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — The FBI and the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office are investigating law enforcement officers from two local police departments, the DA's Office said Friday.
The FBI and the DA's Office served warrants at multiple locations Wednesday in a criminal investigation that pertains to sworn officers with the Antioch Police Department and the Pittsburg Police Department, Senior Deputy District Attorney Simon O'Connell said.
"The broad range of offenses under investigation involve crimes of moral turpitude," O'Connell said. "A review of both active and closed cases involving these officers will be necessary to evaluate whether those cases are now compromised."
