Firefighters Battle Apartment Fire in Martinez
The blaze was reported on Pine Street around 6 a.m.
Firefighters this morning are responding to a two-alarm structure fire in Martinez. The fire broke out at an apartment building in the 3600 block of Pine Street, according to the Contra Costa Fire Protection District.
Firefighters said two people, including a police officer, suffered smoke inhalation injuries.
The fire was first reported at around 6 a.m.
