Free Local History Research Workshop

Learn from the experts! The CCC Historical Society discusses how County archives can be used in researching local and family history.

The Martinez Library will be sponsoring a workshop on researching local history using the resources of the Contra Costa County Historical Society.  The speakers at this workshop will be longtime CCCHS volunteers Bill & Kathleen Mero.  They will talk about the various archives housed at the History Center and how these archives can be used in various phases of research, from family genealogy to local history and more.

The workshop will be held at the Martinez Library, located at 740 Court Street in downtown Martinez.  Reservations are not required.  For more information on the workshop, check the Martinez Library's website.
