Hidden Valley Park Is Back Open! (For The Most Part)

Hidden Valley Park is now back open! (For the most part) After almost a yearlong closing for renovations Hidden Valley Park on Center Ave is now back open. Only the bathrooms are still being completed and are being worked on today! Also the parking lot will be repaved within the next few weeks.

           The new bathrooms will be up to date and easily cleanable. Also there is a storage/work house attached to the back of the structure.    

            With more than a mile of new ADA pathways encompassing the park letting anyone walk, bike, skate, or push a stroller with ease on wide open concrete paths. They also lead down to both baseball fields and around by Hidden Valley Elementary.

                With new grass, irrigation, drainage, drought tolerant landscaping, efficient LED lighting, benches, picnic tables, trash bins, exercise course, covered/uncovered picnic areas, additional swingset, and reservable and non-reservable BBQ areas the City of Martinez has spent it’s Measure H tax dollars well in my opinion.  

                After the completion of the bathrooms and parking lot in the next few weeks there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony TBA. I hope everyone comes out and enjoys the park!
