I-680 Near Martinez Blocked Tuesday Evening Due To Injury Collision

An injury accident has blocked all lanes of Interstate Highway 680 northeast of Martinez this evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officers responded to an accident involving an overturned vehicle on southbound Highway 680 north of state Highway 4 around 5:15 p.m., CHP officials said.

A Sig-alert was issued at 5:27 p.m. closing all southbound lanes at Arthur Road. There is no estimated time of when the lanes will reopen, according to the CHP.

Motorists are advised to use Interstate Highways 780 or 80 to avoid delays, CHP officials said.
