Lacrosse - Bulldogs Take On the Eagles Tonight at Home
Both the Varsity and JV teams lose to the Broncos at the end of a three week road trip.

After a three week road trip, the Alhambra Bulldogs Lacrosse team returns to their home field tonight to play the Eagles from Berean Christian. The Dogs are currently 1-4 in their preseason after another close loss to the Broncos of Northgate High School.
Playing in a continuous downpour, the Dogs once again started off the game by scoring first and giving the Broncos all they could handle for four quarters of play. But ultimately the penalties caught up with them and the Broncos registered a 8-5 victory. Once again the offense had to be retooled. In this contest five different players score goals for the Dogs. They were Andrew Crosno, Lenny Outman, Daniel Fryman, Randy Koerber and, playing his first game on Varsity after being called for this game, sophomore attackman Daniel Aitken, who scored his first goal in the 4th quarter.
The defense only allowed 23 shots on goal to help keep the game close. In previous games the Broncos offense had over 35 shots on goals against other opponents. Not a bad defensive effort.

The JV team played before the Varsity squad and had another tough game. Both goalies for the JV team were down due to injuries and a backup had to be found. Freshman attackman Michael Bull stepped up and filled in at goalie, his first time in that position. In the 3rd quarter the score was 12-0 in favor of the Broncos. The Dogs came back with a lot of heart and scored the only two goals in the fourth quarter.
The Dogs play the Eagles at Alhambra tonight beginning at 7 p.m.
