Attention Gardeners,

The Compost Giveaway for Saturday, August 29th is approved!

It will be held in the Martinez Yacht Club Parking Lot, 111 Tarantino Dr, Martinez

In order to meet COVID-19 safety guidelines, the event will be very different this year:

• Republic Services will not have staff to shovel and fill buckets or lift them into your vehicle

• In order to avoid a large crowd, Republic Services is requiring scheduled appointments in advance for you to fill your container
