Martinez Man, 24, Dies In Motorcycle Crash Off Connector Ramp: CHP
Breaking: The fatal crash occurred Monday night in Walnut Creek, California Highway Patrol reported.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA -- A 24-year-old man from Martinez was killed in a solo motorcycle crash Monday night on a connector ramp from eastbound state Highway 24 to northbound Interstate Highway 680 in Walnut Creek.
The crash was reported at 9:49 p.m., and when officers arrived on scene they found a body in the northbound lanes of Highway 680, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Investigators determined that Richard Manuli III had been riding on the connector ramp above when he veered right and struck the concrete wall on the right-hand side of the roadway. He was ejected from the motorcycle, went off the connector ramp and landed onto the highway below.

The investigation affected traffic at Ygnacio Valley Road for roughly 90 minutes, CHP officers said. Anyone with additional information about the crash is asked to contact Officer Fulgencio at 925-646-4980.
