Community Corner
In Martinez: Oktoberfest 2015 Sat, Oct. 3 9am to 4pm
A festival that offers family fun for everyone. Come and remember the times where there was a sense of community coming together having fun

There will be an all day event that offers something for everyone on Saturday October 3rd at St. Catherine’s Church and City Hall. The festivities will start at 9am with a car show.
Check out these moving pieces of art. It is almost certain that these cars will bring you back to the days of your first car. Take a look at the time and effort that was put into these vehicles to make them custom or to make them look like they just rolled out the plant years ago.
To follow, at 10am we will start the carnival part of the festival. Admission is free and fun is almost guaranteed.

Tired of your kids playing video games? Have them play these old school carnival games. We will have live entertainment throughout the day, with dance troupes, a game show knockoff, and musical acts. So you think you can sing? We will put that to the test.
There will be karaoke throughout the day. Lastly, what would a festival be without food. We will have food that will offer something for every type of pallet. Once the festival is over stay for dinner.
