Shop And Raise Money For Contra Costa Co. School Of Your Choice
Turn in your Sunvalley Shopping Center receipts through Aug. 31. Promotion applies to public and private schools.

With the new school year just around the corner, Sunvalley Shopping Center along with Macy’s and Safeway, are giving back to Contra Costa County public and private schools in a big way as it kicks off its ‘Sunvalley Gives Back’ program.
Through August 31, shoppers may participate in the program by bringing receipts from any Sunvalley Shopping Center store or restaurant to the Customer Service desk.

For every dollar spent, a point will be earned for a designated Contra Costa County School the customer selects.
The top three schools earning the most points will each receive $1,000, presented by Sunvalley, Safeway and Macy’s.

“Schools and educators are vital to the community and this is one way we can show our appreciation and help them prepare for the upcoming school year,” said Kim Trupiano, marketing and sponsorship director for the mall. “This program is a great way for our customers to get involved and show their support as kids get ready to head back into the classroom.”
Checks will be awarded to the winning schools during an appreciation ceremony at Sunvalley Shopping Center after the promotion ends.

The center is located at I-680 and Willow Pass Road in Concord. Shopping hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
