Star Gazing For The Whole Family!

This popular event, sponsored by John Muir Land Trust in partnership with the Mt. Diablo and East Bay Astronomical Societies and Chabot Space & Science Center, offers something for everyone! An optional walking tour from 6:30pm-7:30pm, followed by an ice cream social, then views through the Astronomical Societies’ phenomenal telescopes of the night sky! Child-friendly materials and a demonstration of how to use the binoculars and equipment will be included. Great views of a crescent moon, Saturn and its rings, the Andromeda Galaxy, and of course, the Perseid Meteor Shower!

Open to the public, free of charge and ADA accessible.
