SWAN DAY (Support Women Artists Now) is an international holiday celebrating the creative power of women all over the world. The 9th annual SWAN DAY celebration in Martinez is being held on Saturday, April 9, 2016. Over 50 artists from around the Bay Area are expected to showcase their art at this event.
The Martinez Arts Association has brought this international holiday close to home in downtown Martinez for the past 8 years. With the support of the City of Martinez and local artists we have promoted celebrating all forms of art including visual & performing arts. This event is FREE and all artists and lovers of the arts are invited to join in the celebration of this amazing collaboration of artists.
Every year there is a great line-up of local live music. This year’s schedule includes Garage Land Rodeo Trio (Jenny Starmack, Bruce Campbell, Chris Bryant), Jessica Leia, Clare Thompson, and The New Frantics.
