Tacos & Tunes Benefit for Martinez Music Students

Martinez music students are at it again- playing for their dinner and your dining pleasure. The popular “Tacos and Tunes” fundraiser will take place in the dining commons of Alhambra High School on Friday evening, March 18th. The marching band will lead off the performances at 6pm, followed by the Alhambra High orchestra at 6:30 and dinner provided by local taqueria, Cinco de Mayo.
During the evening you will not only be serenaded, but you will also have the opportunity to win gift baskets in the raffle. We have many donated items from supporters of the music program including a basket from C&L Music of Concord, a beautiful music quilt, and even a musical instrument lamp! Tickets for dinner are only $15 each or two for $25 and are available from any high school music student or by calling 372-8420 to reserve your taco and ticket!
Proceeds from the evening’s fundraiser go towards the yearly repairs and maintenance of the school-owned instruments that the students are able to use at no charge to them. Keeping the many instruments in good working order is costly, but necessary to make sure the instruments are in the best shape possible so the students are successful and able to make beautiful music together.
