Veterans Day Ceremonies Coming Up In Martinez
The 2018 program, at Alhambra Cemetery and Ignacio Plaza, includes flag-raising, musical tributes and a 21-gun salute.

MARTINEZ, CA – The Martinez Veterans Commission will host the annual Veterans Day Program on Monday, Nov. 12, 2018, to honor those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
The program will begin at 10 a.m. at the Alhambra Cemetery, on Carquinez Scenic Drive, with a flag-raising, benediction, placing of the wreath, and posting of the colors by the Sea Cadets.
The official ceremony will continue at 11 a.m. at the Ignacio Plaza, 525 Henrietta St., with a flag-raising, musical tributes, speeches from dignitaries and a 21-gun salute by the American Legion Post 29 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1351.

Refreshments will be available at the Veterans Hall, 930 Court Street, following the ceremonies.
The community is invited to attend and the events are free and open to the public.
