Alleged Dealer Busted Selling Marijuana Near Peninsula High School: Police
BREAKING: The 62-year-old is accused of selling pot to teens, along with other drug charges, officers said.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA ā A 62-year-old Los Altos man was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of selling marijuana to minors near St. Francis High School in Mountain View, plus other drug-related charges, according to the Mountain View Police Department.
John Morris was arrested Nov. 2 afternoon on the 1200 block of Covington Drive by MVPD officers, along with the Santa Clara County Specialized Enforcement Team.
The case evolved after SCCSET detectives learned Morris allegedly was meeting and selling pot to teens near St. Francis, police said.

A subsequent search of Morrisā home reportedly turned up more than 50 pounds of marijuana, a dozen-plus marijuana plants, cocaine and heroin, all of which were confiscated, police said.
Charges against Morris include suspicion of selling marijuana to minors and possession of marijuana, cocaine and heroin for sale.

āThis case showcased the great teamwork between Mountain View police and the countyās task force,ā said MVPD Lt. Greg Oselinsky, who also serves on SCCSET. āThese drugs are now off the street, and I appreciate all the hard work that went in to apprehending this suspect in this case.ā
