Councilmember urges citywide traffic review as developer increases SRI project's housing (almanacnews.com) — Menlo Park's SRI Parkline redevelopment could add more than 1,000 homes, taller office buildings, and a new retail village, but a key councilmember says he won't approve it without a citywide transportation and traffic study. Neighbors in Lindfield Oaks and near Burgess Park worry about gridlock and changing setbacks, while the developer prepares a revised plan that will undergo full environmental review.
3. Harpist Alexander Boldachev performs in Menlo Park on September 27 (inmenlo.com) — A free harp concert featuring internationally acclaimed virtuoso Alexander Boldachev is happening this Sunday, September 27, at New Community Church on Middle Avenue in Menlo Park.
