Are You A Menlo Park-Atherton Mom Dealing With Your Child's Food Allergies?
New chapter of No Nuts Mom Group has formed for the South Bay and Peninsula area.

A new local chapter of the No Nuts Moms Group was recently organized for the Peninsula and South Bay area.
Most of the moms who have joined so far reside in Los Altos, Mountain View and Palo Alto, however the new group is aimed at parents throughout the area.
“There isn’t any local support groups for moms who are dealing with their children’s tree nut and peanut allergies,” said the local organizer Mansi Bhatia Tripathi.

It’s a forum for moms to commiserate, share advice and experiences, vent , add local resources and just be there for each other, she said.
“People don’t understand how isolating food allergies can be,” Tripathi said. “And my hope is that through this group, we will be able to create a stronger community, and help each other and our children learn not to be afraid of food.”

The group will meet up for indoor and outdoor events, adult-only outings and is open to other suggestions as it gets off the ground. If you are a working or a stay-at-home mother who has a child with a life-threatening allergy, consider joining.
