Authentic Thai Cuisine: a Cooking Demo for Adults

Menlo Park Library to Host Delicious Event March 26

The Menlo Park Library is hosting a free cooking demonstration to teach adults how to make delicious, authentic Thai food at home.


The event will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 26 at the Main Library at 800 Alma Street, and will be conducted by professional cook Natty Netsuwan of ThaiTable.com. Netsuwan will demonstrate how make Massaman Curry Paste and Massaman Curry, Jasmine Rice and Tapioca Pudding (Saku Peiak). She promises an informative, fun and delicious Thai cooking demo, in which she says she will “reveal everything you want to know about Thai food but were afraid to ask.”


Natty Netsuwan is a Menlo Park resident who was born in Thailand to a family who loves eating well and cooking from scratch. Natty created the website ThaiTable.com, which for over 15 years has been the most popular Thai food website. Focusing on the breadth of "Thai food that Thai people love in Thailand," Natty has taught millions of people worldwide how to make authentic, great-tasting food. Natty also teaches in private homes and at events.

The March 26 event is just for adults, and is free, thanks to the generosity of Ms. Netsuwan, as well as additional support from the Friends of the Menlo Park Library. No preregistration is necessary to attend, but space is limited.
