Ballet San Jose School Spring Performance

The Ballet San Jose

School Performances, suitable for all ages, will showcase the talent,

technique, and artistry of Ballet San Jose’s next generation of classical

ballet dancers.The General Public is encouraged to attend the 6pm performance.


Two Performances:

June 1, 2014 at 2pm and 6pm at The California Theatre

The 2pm Performance includes students from the Primary Division (ages 5 to 10) and the Jr. Pre-Professional Division (ages 8 to 13), as well as select students from the Senior Pre-Professional Division (ages 12 to 20) performing classical and contemporary works.


The 6pm Performance will  be a full evening performance with one intermission, and will include students from Level 3 and the Senior Pre-Professional Division (ages 12 to 20). The performance features Konservatoriet, choreographed in the Danish style by August Bournonville, and staged by Mads Eriksen formerly of the Royal Danish Ballet. Also on the program is the choreography of school principal Dalia Rawson along with works by local choreographers James Kopecky, Jazon Escultura and Laura Malpass.
