Lucky Nine Take Field During Giants Game
Bank of America Makes Classic Childhood Dream Come True.
How many children dream of taking the field at a Major League baseball game?
Can you imagine the thrill of hearing more than 40,000 people cheer as you run to your position on the field at AT&T Park? JobTrain’s amazing partners at Bank of America provided this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for nine JobTrain kids aged 7-12 on August 26 as the San Francisco Giants took on the Atlanta Braves.
After hanging out in the dugout wearing new Giants T shirts and caps and clutching their new baseballs, the nine children stood at attention for the National Anthem and then ran out to the field to take the position to which each had been assigned.

Once the kids were in place, the athlete who was to play that position in the game met the child and autographed their ball. Bank of America gave the “lucky nine” a memory they will remember forever and forty JobTrain staff members the opportunity to cheer the Giants and their children in a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
