The Menlo-Atherton high school varsity boys soccer team heads into CCS seeded #1 in Division 1 of the playoffs (15-0-5).
The Menlo-Atherton high school varsity boys soccer team heads into CCS seeded #1 in Division 1 of the playoffs (15-0-5).
The team gets a bye into Saturday's quarterfinals and will play either No. 9 Carlmont (8-8-4) or No. 8 Santa Teresa (17-3).
The Bears already have beaten the Carlmont Scots twice this season in PAL Bay Division 2-0 last Wednesday.

They also beat Half Moon Bay 3-0 last Monday with one of the most brilliant goals of the season scored by a charging Will Cabral on an assist by Edgardo Molina. M-A finished the PAL season as co-champions again this year.
The are ranked 23rd by ESPN in the FAB 50, and could meet rival Alisal (17-0-3), the only other team who did not lose a game in the season, in the quarter finals. Quarter finals will be Saturday February 25th in a location to be determined.
