Menlo Park Housing Element Update: The Bus Tour

Almost thirty community members from Menlo Park came out on a bright Saturday morning to learn more about how they can plan for growth.  The 3-hour bus tour, hosted by Housing Leadership Council of San Mateo County and the Nonprofit Housing Association of Northern California, provided nearby examples of what contemporary affordable housing looks like and how it can fit into Menlo Park's plans to meet the housing needs across a spectrum of incomes and lifestyles.  Featured on the housing tour were sites in Palo Alto (801 Alma Street) and Mountain View (Alta Torre and Pauson Park).
