Come try three new ones this Saturday, November 12 in , which is located at 215 Bay Road, here in Menlo Park.
Cheese Gone Wild, Eat on Monday, and Pacific Puffs will be featured at the Flood Park dedication and ribbon cutting event from 12:00-3:00. (Click on their names to see their twitter accounts.) Some trucks only take cash, so come prepared!
After being shuttered for 13 months to facilitate the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission's upgrades to their water supply pipelines, Flood County Park will re-open on November 12, 2011 at 12 noon with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration event co-hosted by and the San Mateo County Parks Department.
Community, please join us at 12:00 p.m. for the ceremony that will be led by San Mateo County Supervisor, Rose Jacobs Gibson.
Friends of Flood Park’s “Party in the Park” celebration will kick-off at 12:30 pm with gourmet food trucks, music by Stanford University's Mariachi Cardenal Band and Hillview Middle School Jazz band, and kid's activities.
The park is now slated to remain open from November 12, 2011 until June 30, 2012.
The possibility of closing Flood Park again after June 30, 2012 remains a concern to park neighbors, city residents and the new park supporting organization, Friends of Flood Park.
