Cooling Trend Brings Some Relief From Menlo Park Heat: FORECAST

After several days of a heat wave in the region, the Bay Area will experience some relief over the next few days, forecasters say.

After a hot week in the Bay Area, some relief is coming. National Weather Service forecasters say the region is due for a cooling trend.

"Cooling trend starts [Friday] for most areas as onshore flow returns," the NWS says. "The far interior valleys will remain seasonably warm through [Friday] evening.

"The overall trend this weekend and into next week will be a return to more seasonable temperatures along with more extensive night and morning low clouds followed by sunny afternoons."
