2nd Annual "Images of Menlo" Plein Air Art Event

Plein Air Invitation

Local artists are invited to participate in the 2nd Annual Images of Menlo plein air art event on Menlo College's campus. The event will span two weekends: Saturday, September 25, Sunday, September 26, Saturday, October 2, Sunday, October 3, from 9 AM until 5 PM. 

Registration

Registration will be on the Quad (in front of the Library) between 9 AM-2 PM each day of the event. There is no charge for Menlo College students, faculty or staff members who would like to participate. A fee of $25, cash or check, made payable to Menlo College, is required for other artists in the community.

Best in Show Purchase Prize

Artists may draw or paint images of the campus on any (or all) of the 4 days. Artists must bring their own supplies. One or multiple works of campus scenes may be submitted to the "Images of Menlo" exhibition. A purchase prize of $750 will be offered for the work judged Best in Show (Artists must be registered to be eligible.)

Exhibition

The "Images of Menlo" exhibition will be displayed in the Administration Building opening the week of October 25. A reception will be held on October 27 from 5-7 PM.
